Today I’m talk about How to Uninstall Windows Updates.In here I’m not talk about what is windows update because i had already talk about that topic at last posts.you can refer that post get good knowledge about windows update. In here I’m talking how to uninstall updates using CMD (Command prompt).
Why we using cmd ? normally we use control panel for uninstall updates. Why I recommend cmd in here ? What is the reason?
Ok i will give clear answers for all of these questions in your mind. Think now you want to uninstalled your windows update,its already installed at the moment .Because of its effect your machine performance going down.under this situation you can get quick response from cmd than the control panel.
How to Check Installed Windows Updates ?
You have to do type below commands in cmd .first we have to check what updates had installed to your pc.open cmd and type below command .then you see your installed update list.
may be you feel your updates list will be short.but don’t be panic.some old updates replace by the new updates and when you clean your pc some old updates removed without damage your Operating System ,those are reasons for your short list.
How to Remove Specific Windows Updates ?
In here we use WUSA .it is windows built in command.you should found your KB file from your windows and change the KB file name . for example :——
wusa /uninstall /kb:3172729
At last windows update standalone installer dialog box will be opened.if you click yes it is start to uninstall update.
